New MetFDA Officers, Board Sworn In
Last month members of the Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association met for their Annual Meeting at Maple Grove Cemeteries. On Thursday, January 23, following a morning of Continuing Education sessions, President Sherry Bensimon (Riverside Memorial Chapel, Manhattan) called the meeting to order and led participants through association business. Minutes from the 2024 Annual Meeting were approved, and Secretary/Treasurer Patrick Kearns (Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home, Inc., Rego Park) provided a Financial Report which was also approved.
President Bensimon provided her final President’s Message. We appreciate Sherry’s leadership throughout the past two years. Many thanks to all Met leaders, members and staff for participating in this year’s meeting.
