Membership Categories

Funeral Home – Regular Member

Each “Regular Member” firm is represented by a designee. A designee is a licensed funeral director from the firm who is eligible to vote and run for elective office. Dues are a flat fee per firm location.

Individual – Affiliate Member

An additional licensed funeral director of a “Regular Member” firm who receives mail at the same firm. An affiliate is a person, not the location. An “Affiliate” is not eligible to vote or hold elective office.

Non-Affiliated Affiliate

A New York State licensed funeral director that is not employed, or affiliated as an owner or partner with, a Member firm or other registered funeral firm. A non-affiliate member is a person, not the location and is not eligible to vote or hold elective office.
