MetFDA Holds 2023 Annual Meeting Virtually

Again this year, members of the Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association met via Zoom for their Annual Meeting on Thursday, January 26. President Sal Anthony Farenga (Farenga Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., Bronx) called the meeting to order and led participants through association business. Minutes from the 2022 Annual Meeting were approved, and Secretary/Treasurer Lucy Vista (Frederick Funeral Home, Inc., Flushing) provided a Financial Report which was also approved.

President Farenga provided his final President’s Message, thanking his fellow officers and staff for a steady two years. He’s excited about the bright and fascinating future ahead for the organization as our relationships with the state association, city officials, and our members remain strong. We appreciate Sal’s leadership through the second phase of the pandemic.
