As families’ funeral wishes continue to evolve; it is more important than ever to offer a variety of services that meet their needs. Fewer families are incorporating religious rites into services and many funeral homes are looking to Certified Celebrants to accommodate this growing demand for customized services.

A Certified Celebrant works with funeral directors to provide funeral services, memorial services and tributes that are personalized to reflect the unique personality and lifestyle of the individual being honored.

NJSFDA is offering 30 individuals the opportunity to become a Certified Celebrant by taking part in the Certified Celebrant Training, led by Glenda S. Stansbury, MA, CFSP, at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City from Tuesday, September 20 through Thursday, September 22, 2022.

Registration for this event includes: three days of training, meals, hotel accommodations, a complimentary parking pass and networking with other funeral industry professionals.
