Joining us as a guest this meeting is City Council candidate John Cerini from Throgs Neck who is hoping to fill the seat being vacated by our present Councilman, James Vacca. John is a local businessman who operates The Tax Man accounting firm and is the leader of the Throgs Neck Merchants Association. He has been responsible for many community improvements and has a strong dedication to the Bronx. John is familiar with the problems facing funeral service since he is a close friend of three members of funeral service. Your attendance is important at this meeting to determine which candidate the Met chooses to support for this council position.

Please make every effort to attend this meeting. City Council candidate Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj will be addressing the members about our concerns in funeral service and his goals to become a council member. Mark was a Real Estate broker before accepting the nomination to run for NYS Assembly and winning the last election unseating a career politician with his progressive views. Mark has decided his efforts for the Bronx would be best served if he ran for City Council to replace the term-limited present council member, James Vacca.
